Terry Lucking, who already owns Belvoir Peterborough and Belvoir Corby, has added to his portfolio by becoming the new owner of Belvoir’s Cambridge office. Following his success at both the Peterborough office (launched in 1999) and the Corby office (launched in 2008) Terry decided to invest in a third Belvoir franchise.

“This was part of my long-term development plan,” says Terry. “We want as many Belvoir territories as we can afford and operate. As Cambridge is probably the third most important city in the UK and the lettings market there is buoyant it seemed the ideal place to invest.”

Since taking over Belvoir Cambridge Terry has successfully raised its profile, increased its awareness within the community and seen an incredible response to his advertising campaign. He now plans to build the business further while looking for a fourth Belvoir office.

“To manage more than one office can be challenging but Terry’s high level of administration and management skills enable him to do this,” explains Dorian Gonsalves, Belvoir Sales Director.

Terry can think strategically and manage staff members remotely whilst still getting the very best out of everyone. As a Franchisor, Belvoir can support this in different ways including our quarterly network group meetings where groups of 15-20 Franchise Owners can discuss topics such as staff management, office administration, and comparison of fee structures, all of which are very useful for an owner running multiple outlets.
