16/11/2009 - BELVOIR’S MIKE GODDARD – SIMPLY THE BEST!
Belvoir is delighted to announce that CEO Mike Goddard has won the title of Leader of the Year, in recognition of his business and leadership skills. Belvoir was also runner up for the hotly contested national title of Lettings Agency of the Year 2009.
The best estate and lettings agents in the UK were honoured at the glittering award ceremony on 11th November at London’s Park Lane Hilton, organised by The Negotiator magazine in association with The Digital Property Group.
A delighted Mike Goddard said: “It is a great honour to receive the award of Leader of the Year and also for Belvoir to be highly commended as Lettings Agency of the Year 2009. The lettings industry is overtaking residential sales and Belvoir is leading the way in this field. I would like to thank my team at Central Office and Belvoir’s 140 Franchise Owners nationwide, because it is their hard work that enables us to enter these awards and win them.
“Throughout the recession Belvoir has continued to enjoy positive growth of between 14-18% – something many businesses are struggling to do. Our network turnover is now in excess of £20 million and as a company we are in a very strong position to continue this growth in 2010. Belvoir is also actively contributing towards government and trade body policy on lettings and franchising and to me, this is even more pleasing than straightforward growth, so I am very proud to receive this accolade”
