DOUBLE HONOURS FOR TELFORD LETTINGS SPECIALIST
IN 2013 NATIONAL AWARDS SCHEME
National property lettings agency, Belvoir PLC has saluted a Brigadier General and serving TA Officer with two major honours in the company’s annual ‘High Achievers’ awards scheme, staged at the Belton Woods Hotel, near Grantham, Lincolnshire.
Brigadier Simon Bell, along with wife and business partner Sally, owns the Belvoir Telford office on Market Street in Wellington. They received a Silver Award in the prestigious Franchisee of the Year category and a second Silver Award for Most Improved Office 2013.
Both awards relate to the performance of the couple’s business in only its second year of trading. In the same scheme last year they were awarded the Gold Award for New Franchise Owner of the Year and were shortlisted as Newcomers of the Year at the prestigious Negotiator Awards which encompasses all lettings agent companies throughout the UK.
At the Belvoir annual awards presentation evening - co-presented by comedienne Ruby Wax - Belvoir’s Chairman, Mike Goddard said: “Brigadier Simon Bell and his wife Sally are a wonderful couple who have demonstrated professionalism, integrity and, at the same time as running a new business of their own, given a huge amount of support to other new and potential Belvoir franchise owners.
“Simon’s entrepreneurial characteristics have pushed them forward and Sally’s attention to detail ensures they follow compliance procedures and retain high standards.
“They have surpassed all expectations and doubled their business in the past 12 months. The dynamic way they have successfully operated and built their business makes them very deserving winners of the Silver Award for Belvoir Franchise of the Year 2013.
“Their second award for Most Improved Office acknowledges that Simon and Sally Bell and their superb team have increased their business by 102% from last year and this is still only their second year of trading. This truly is a fantastic achievement and we applaud their achievements.”
Simon, who, in addition to a distinguished military career also worked at a very high level in the corporate world, including positions as Senior Vice President at Bank of America and Business Development Director at Churchill China plc, before going into business with Sally, said: “I am thrilled to have won both these awards.
“However we have not been focused on winning awards, but rather on providing excellent customer service, engaging with our Customers and ensuring our team is kept motivated and happy. Good customer service is in our DNA.
