TELFORD LETTINGS SPECIALIST STRIKES GOLD IN NATIONAL AWARDS SCHEME

National property lettings agency, Belvoir, gave its own special salute to a Brigadier General and serving TA Officer, and his wife, when they collected the Belvoir New Franchise of the Year Gold Award at its 2012 annual awards ceremony.

Brigadier Simon Bell, along with wife and business partner Sally, received the honour in recognition of the dynamic way they have successfully operated and built their business, since first opening a Belvoir office at 40 Market Street, Wellington at the start of 2011.

Presenting the couple with their winners’ plaque and marketing investment prize at a ceremony held at the Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire, was renowned TV wit, presenter, writer and raconteur, Gyles Brandreth, alongside Belvoir Chief Executive Officer, Dorian Gonsalves.

“This award goes to two people who have demonstrated professionalism, integrity and, at the same time as running a new business of their own, given a huge amount of support to other new and potential Belvoir franchise owners,” said Dorian.

“Simon and Sally are a shining example of how successful a new Belvoir franchisee can quickly become. We applaud their achievements - this is an award that is very well deserved”

Simon, who, in addition to a distinguished military career also worked at a very high level in the corporate world, including positions as Senior Vice President at Bank of America Ltd and Business Development Director at Churchill China plc, before going into business with Sally, said:” I am genuinely surprised and thrilled to have won this award.

“We have not been focused on winning awards, but rather on providing excellent customer service, engaging with our clients and ensuring our team is kept motivated and happy.

Crowning the couple’s achievement at the 2012 ceremony was the fact that just two days earlier, Belvoir successfully listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

Belvoir was delighted to win the Silver Award at the 2011 Lettings Agency of the Year Awards, in association with The Sunday Times and The Times.
