You may have heard in the news that the way Landlords and Agents can look after Tenants deposits has recently changed.

Since April 2007 the Government has introduced a law which requires all deposits arising from new tenancy agreements to be held in a way that better protects Tenants in the event of a dispute at the end of the tenancy.

It's really quite complicated and what's more, it can lead to serious consequences for Landlords who fail to comply with the new changes.

Fail to get it right and it could hit you hard in the pocket and could lead to problems in bringing a tenancy to an end.
