Energy Performance Certificates
EPC's must be made available to prospective tenants when marketing the property, to allow tenants to compare the energy efficiency of properties when making a decision about where to rent. EPC's remain valid for 10 years, so you won't need to get a new one for each change of tenant or tenancy. Also, properties with tenants in-situ as of October 1st 2008 will not need an EPC immediately, however one will be required when next advertising for a new tenant. EPC's must be provided by fully trained & accredited Domestic Energy Assessors - we can arrange for one to be provided at a highly competetive rate. For more information on EPC's and how they affect you please visit our shop on 11 Frederick Street, call 0191 567 8577 or email sunderland@belvoirlettings.com |
