Belvoir! Sheffield Launch Their First Ever Twitter Competition
Continuing a run of online innovations, Belvoir! Sheffield is going interactive this week with the launch of their first ever Twitter prize draw. The
Sheffield lettings agent joined the social network almost a year ago and has been tweeting ever since on topics as diverse as property management in Sheffield and rental deposits to landlord services and new home furniture packs.
The competition, launched by Belvoir! Sheffield managing director Rick Flay, will see one Twitter user receive £100 worth of high-street vouchers simply by following the firm on Twitter or re-tweeting a Belvoir! Sheffield message. The competition will run from 1 – 28 February, with the winner to be picked by prize draw on 1st March 2010.

property to rent in Sheffield, Belvoir! Sheffield is using its Twitter competition to encourage tenants and landlords in Sheffield to connect with the agency online. Rick Flay said, “Belvoir! Sheffield is active on a number of social networks but Twitter is easily the most prolific and thanks to its immediacy, the one we felt was most relevant for this competition. Our aim with Twitter is to make it easier for both tenants and landlords to connect with us, to provide immediate access to our latest
rental property in Sheffield and to have meaningful conversations with those interested in the Sheffield property market, either as a business owner or a lease holder.
“We’ll be encouraging all those who follow us on Twitter to re-tweet useful articles posted by our team and to recommend us to friends who don’t already follow us who may find our services and expertise useful.”
Anyone re-tweeting a Belvoir! Sheffield message will need to include the tag #BelvoirSheffieldComp on their messages to be entered into the prize draw. New followers will also be put into the hat to win the £100 high-street vouchers. The draw will be held at Belvoir! Sheffield’s Paradise Square office on 1st March 2010.
The Twitter competition is the second online innovation in as many weeks for the Sheffield letting agent. It unveiled unique virtual tours of all of its rental properties in Sheffield last week.
