Burton upon Trent, the largest town in the National Forest is renowned as the capital of the British Brewery industry and is currently home to a number of Breweries including Coors Brewery Ltd and Marston, Thompson and Evershed Plc.
Straddling the River Trent and Mersey Canal, Burton boasts many features expected of a town its size, such as its own football club, Burton Albion, currently playing in division two of the Football League, as well strong university links through Burton College, Burton Park, Library and an A&E department at Queens Hospital.
